Wicked Wednesday Raises $1350 for Charity

“Wicked Wednesday,” an evening of food, fun, and fund-raising was presented by Greener Tours, on August 11, 2010.  The evening started at Level Dining Lounge with cocktails, dinner, and a fundraiser for Project OpenHand-Columbus and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.  The event raised $1350 of which $700 was donated to POHC.

After dinner, 113 clients of Greener Tours filled the first 7 rows of the center loge at the Ohio Theater and enjoyed an unforgettable performance of “Wicked.”

Wall Street Nightclub provided parking for the evening and hosted members of the group and cast of “Wicked” for post-show cocktails.

The success of the evening was made possible by generous donations from “Wicked,” Let Us Eat Cupcakes, Half Price Books, Level Dining Lounge, and Wall Street Nightclub.

A special “Thank-you” to the management and staff of Level, Kristen and Charity at LifeCare Alliance, friends Thelma, Louise, Sue, Casey, Brad, and Amy, Peter Van Dyke, production stage manager for “Wicked,” the cast and creative team of Wicked for their autographs, the 60 people that attended and generously donated at the fundraiser, and the 113 people, from ages 11 to 75, that attended the show.

Please join us in supporting the Arts in Columbus.  See our list of upcoming shows here.

By the way, “Jersey Wednesday – The Situation” is less than a year away.  We’ll have tickets for Jersey Boys available starting in November!

Much appreciation,
