Whitewater Rafting

Product Information

Greener Tours’ “Summer of Fun” continues with a White Water rafting trip to West Virginia, July 30 – August 1, 2010!

Rivermen, located in Lansing , WV (near Fayetteville), will be our host and guide for our two night stay, 1-day rafting trip on the lower New River. We’ll raft the picturesque New River from Thurmond to Fayette Station. This trip provides enough challenges to thrill seasoned veterans, but is also excellent for first-timers. Our rafting adventure includes a whitewater cascade through 25 rapids–a dazzling combination of beautiful scenery, calm, relaxing pools, and fantastic whitewater.

We have three options for accommodations!
The Sportsmen Cabin has the basics for someone who wants to be outdoors, but sleep in comfort inside. These 24 x 16 ft. cabins are equipped with beds, bathroom and fridge – all the comforts you need after a day of playing in West Virginia. Each cabin has a/c and a private bath — bring your own towels! (See more: http://www.rivermen.com/site/sportsman-cabins/)

The Hemlock cabin allows you to enjoy all the pleasures of camping in the woods and the security of a rustic cabins. The air-conditioned Hemlock cabins share a common bath house and, in true rustic fashion, you bring your own bedding and towels. (See more: http://www.rivermen.com/site/hemlock-cabins).

Finally, for my nature dork friends and clients, we have a camping option! Bring your own tent and enjoy one of the 125 private tent sites with a fire ring!

Due to limited availability, your group of 4 or smaller may be grouped with others in a cabin.
